I
am fairly certain that the McFarren family to the right is
the same
as the
McFern family in the photograph but cannot prove this so
they
are listed as
"Possibly". Also,
there are no "McFern" families any time that could be them.
And, I
find no trace of the approx. 1 year old
child in the photograph named "Dolly".
It is possible that since they were married in 1895 that
Dolly was their
first child and that she died
before the 1900 census although I find no
cemetery
record for her. The photograph was probably owned by a
friend of the family and
simply spelled the
name as
"McFarren" was pronounced.
